When the list has a checkbox column to the left you can select rows.
To select multiple rows at once you can click the checkbox in the header row of the list. This will select all rows on the current page of the list.
If you want to select all rows across all pages of the list, click the small arrow to the of the header row checkbox and choose “Select all 5 235”
In this menu you also find the option to deselect all selected rows across all pages.
