In January we had our first event outside the Mira Office for the first time ever – and it was so much fun that we hope to be able to do more of these!
In collaboration with The University of Helsinki we arranged a afternoon where we introduced Mira Network and focused on what we do within Career Services and Student Recruitment. The afternoon was rounded off with separate round table discussions where we discussed and learned more about how universities in Finland work in these different fields and what the hopes are for the future.
Attending were 45 people from 8 different Universities and University Colleges and the event took place in the great location of Tiedekulma (The Think Corner) which deserves a visit from anybody who’s traveling to Helsinki! Our friends at The Alumni and Donor relations department at The University of Helsinki also have “moved” in to the Tiedekulma during two months to raise the awareness of alumni relations and the importance of them.
