Last week CNN reported on how the economy crisis in the USA has changed how some universities now focus on their alumni relations. Traditionally the university is the one that calls up the alumni to ask them to support their school in different ways. But with the financial crisis people don’t have the same possibilities to give support so now the universities offer the alumnus different kinds of support instead. Some universities offer different kinds of expertise guidens on how to handle different financial situations, other give career support and advice for those who have lost their job and many also offers courses at a discount price.
