What is a bug and how is it managed?

A bug is malfunction of the system that cases the system to not behave as specified. When a bug is reported to Mira Live it is logged, classified and managed according to classification. We use the following classifications for bugs.

  • Blocking
  • Critical
  • High
  • Normal

A bug is fixed by updating the software and/or the content of the database.

To keep track of the changes made to fix a bug all actions are logged in our issue tracker. Code changes are saved in the source code system (GIT) and database changes are scripted using Fluent Migrator (and also saved in our source code system).
