Fundraising Management
In the Nordic region, universities have historically relied on the state for most of the funding. However, since the 1990s, several Nordic universities have launched successful fundraising campaigns. The fundraising campaigns raise additional funds to get a competitive edge in the increased international competition. Donors are often corporations and foundations, as well as individuals. One important group is alumni, either as direct donors or as key people to reach out to supporting organizations.
